Our Story

Tipsy Charters is coming soon to the South Florida area. It was started by a family with a passion for the ocean determined to give everyone the love for the ocean they share. The boat was acquired in March 2020 and is currently being restored to its former glory by it’s captain. The Leopard is a late 1800s Virginia Pilot schooner square rig. She is a 75 ft wooden sailboat which has won many awards, including but not limited to, The Chesapeake Bay Great Schooner Race from Baltimore to Norfolk in 1994 and 1996, Key West Wrecker’s Race in March 1998, and sailed in the“Sailing to save the bay” in 1997.
